SMCTE is comprised of teachers of English in higher education, secondary, middle, and elementary schools.  Members include educators from local universities and colleges, Memphis City Schools, Shelby County Schools, and many private, parochial, and independent schools.

                                                

                                             

Tuesday, October 21, for our annual New Teachers Reception.  Each year we share LOTS of FREE teaching materials for those who are new to the profession, so bring your non-tenured colleagues.  (Imagine a neighborhood of English teachers hosting a huge yard sale with no price tags!)
